What you’ll do
You will join a team working on advanced cryogenic cooling and measurement techniques and play a key role in the daily operation of the Cryolab, a unique research facility with test stands operating at temperatures down to 50 mK. You will focus on the development, operation and technical follow-up of these installations in close collaboration with users and colleagues.
Your responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the operational principles of cryogenic test stands based on user needs and technical requirements.
- Work with the team to translate these principles into thermodynamic and mechanical design solutions.
- Coordinate the production of these test stands, following the agreed timeline and budget constraints.
- Plan and organise the Cryolab activities according to operational priorities, available personnel and liquid helium supply.

- Experience in cryogenics systems.
- Experience in the design, construction follow-up and commissioning of complex mechanical installations.
- Experience in preparing technical documentation, operating procedures and test records.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Mechanics, Electromechanics, Instrumentation or a related field.
