Legal and Compliance Manager (100%) (Ref. 2783) Permanent role - Fluent in German and English - Zurich
This position offers a broad and diverse scope of responsibility across legal, compliance, governance, and business-related topics, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on strategic and operational activities. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from Commercial, Market Access, Public Affairs, Procurement, Quality, Pharmacovigilance, IT, and other key functions while supporting decision-making across the organization.
Your main tasks
- Provide legal and compliance advice to internal stakeholders on business-critical matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial and operational agreements.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of compliance programs, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Contribute to risk assessments, monitoring activities, audits, and remediation initiatives.
- Partner with business teams to enable compliant and effective execution of strategic projects and initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and awareness programs related to ethics, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive process optimization and support the adoption of innovative digital solutions and new ways of working.
Your profile
- Swiss Master of Law degree (MLaw) or an equivalent legal qualification.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in legal and/or compliance functions.
- Prior exposure to commercial agreements and cross-functional stakeholder engagement is highly desirable.
- Experience within a regulated environment is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of Swiss and European legal and compliance frameworks relevant to the pharmaceutical sector would be advantageous.
- Strong learning agility, with the ability to rapidly acquire expertise and adapt across a broad range of subject matters
- Fluent in German and English; French is considered an advantage.
