CHINA CONSTRUCTION BANK recrute un(e) Treasury Trader a Zürich.

China Construction Bank opened its Zurich Branch in 2016, becoming the first Chinese bank in Switzerland and the only RMB clearing bank for Switzerland. Our goal is to provide reliable, high-quality, and efficient financial services to Swiss companies with business relations in China and Chinese companies with business relations in Switzerland. We primarily focus on corporate banking for top companies from selected industries, large and medium-sized clients, and support their trade and investment relationships. Additionally, we are also developing our business with medium-sized, family-owned Swiss companies to help them establish their presence in the Chinese market. Our offerings include commercial lending, trade finance, treasury, RMB clearing and settlement, RMB Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (RQFII), and other banking products and service. Our bank has experienced steady growth, and we recognize that our people are a key asset. Currently, we employ about 43 professionals from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.

We are looking for a highly motivated and engaged Treasury Trader.

Your main responsibilities

• Liquidity Management, Asset and Liability Management
• Pricing and execution of money market (MM) and FX transactions
• Managing, calculating, and reporting liquidity ratios
• Participating in client meetings and industry forums as required
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance processes in the field

Your qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a financial institution, preferably in FX/ money market operations, liquidity management, and/or risk management. Experience in liquidity regulatory reporting would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
• Familiarity with data mining, research, analysis, and automated trading strategies.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German; proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage.
• Team player who enjoys working in a multicultural, international environment.
