Based at our site in Marin, we are currently looking for an:

 

IT System Engineer Infrastructure, Network & Securtity

We are looking for a proactive and service-oriented IT System Engineer to join our IT team. This role combines IT infrastructure management, system administration, and hands-on users support.

Reporting to the Group Infra & Security Manager, the IT System Engineer will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure management, network administration, cybersecurity operations, system administration, and hands-on user support.

The position requires both strong technical skills and a practical, customer-focused mindset.

Your Key responsabilities

  • Provide second & third-level IT support to local and remote users.
  • Handle user requests, incidents, troubleshooting, and service tickets in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, permissions, groups, and onboarding/offboarding activities.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, Intune, and Azure / Entra ID services.
  • Monitor, maintain, and improve IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, networks, security appliances, backups, and cloud services.
  • Ensure system availability, performance, security, and compliance with internal IT standards.
  • Manage patching, software deployment, endpoint protection, and device compliance.
  • Support cybersecurity activities, including vulnerability remediation, access control, system hardening, and security awareness.
  • Participate in IT infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and standardization initiatives.
  • Support business-critical applications and coordinate with external providers when required.
  • Maintain documentation, procedures, asset inventories, configurations, and support knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, business users, external partners, and vendors.

 

Your Qualifications :

  • Degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or IT infrastructure operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, file services, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience supporting end users, workplace devices, printers, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with endpoint management, patching, monitoring, backup, and security tools.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is an advantage.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks, ISO 27001, or security audits is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a structured and pragmatic way.
  • Good communication skills and a strong service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating efficiently with the broader IT team.
  • Good command of English and French another language is an asset.
