Your responsibility
•
Analyze and evaluate complex property (and engineering) risks, preparing comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations.
•
Guide the development, standardization, and optimization of property (and engineering) insurance products, including portfolio management and underwriting guidelines.
•
Advise on reinsurance strategies and support the structuring of tailored solutions to maximize group-wide capacity and control risk accumulation.
•
Monitor market trends to drive product innovation and identify opportunities for profitable growth in Property (and Engineering) lines.
•
Collaborate closely with stakeholders such as Risk Engineering, Claims, and Cat Nat, serving as a central resource for operational excellence.
•
Lead internal training and professional development initiatives, fostering knowledge sharing and technical expertise across teams.
•
Represent Helvetia Baloise in professional forums and support data-driven decision-making through advanced analysis and process enhancement.
Your qualification
•
You hold a university degree in insurance, technology, or business administration, and possess comprehensive knowledge across the entire property (and engineering) insurance value chain.
•
You gained several years of hands-on experience in property insurance underwriting or product management.
•
You demonstrate advanced project management skills and thrive in cross-functional team environments.
•
You are an analytical, structured thinker with a confident, engaging presence and exceptional communication abilities.
•
You speak English fluently, ideally also French or German or Italian or Spanish and you are open to occasional travel within Europe.
•
You have a genuine passion for insurance innovation in the property and engineering sector, along with strong interpersonal skills for building successful stakeholder relationships.
