Lead of Medical Scientific Information, International 100%
Job Description
•
Maintain a database of global medical scientific publications to ensure company-wide awareness of publications related to STAAR surgical products, and to ensure cross-functional access to contemporary and historical publications.
•
Generate medical scientific summaries, presentations, scientific compendia, training content, website content, and information to ensure pre- and post-launch preparedness supporting the Professional Education, Marketing, Clinical and R&D, Commercial teams.
•
Lead the identification of trends and insights from medical scientific publications, and scientific presentations at conferences/company sponsored events, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
•
Support PMS activities (Scientific papers/Congress presentations).
•
Respond to medical scientific information enquiries from customers (evidence-based, consistent and compliant), documenting, tracking and reporting of the activity.
•
Serves as Medical Reviewer in the Medical, Legal and Regulatory (MLR) process, ensuring that materials (mainly HCP-facing content) support evidence-based communication and comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
•
The position is based in Switzerland and requires travelling of 30%.
Your profile
•
Optometrist with post-graduate degrees (master’s in clinical optometry/Ophthalmology, Visual Sciences, Biostatistics, PhD, etc).
•
Clinical practice of optometry at least 1-3 years of practice within ophthalmology fields (surgical refractive / cataract) or demonstrated exposure to research in the field of Ophthalmology/Optics/Optometry.
•
Proficient in English (verbal and written) and in one other additional language (Spanish, French, or German).
•
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
•
Excellent communication skills to adapt to different individuals at all levels.
