Software Project Manager Customer Service (m/f/d)

We are seeking a dedicated candidate for the role of Software Project Manager for our Customer Service (CS) department. The position holder will be the first point of contact in all aspects during the Software life cycle of a project with existing customer projects, such as extensions and modernizations. Projects will be of small / medium size and within our current customer base. The Software Project Manager works to balance the competing constraints of the project with the resources available.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

You provide leadership, control and coordination of Software project teams such as resources, performance management and information to maintain an effective and well-functioning team working towards common goals.

You are responsible to manage projects issues, risks and assumptions through regular reporting and be a key person to find feasible solutions and ensure the success of your projects.

•

You make sure to effectively communicate internally and externally with your customer and ensure that changes within the project are managed properly throughout the project lifecycle.

•

You are responsible for controlling costs and make sure that the projects are delivered within budget timeframe and quality agreed upon.

•

You will be responsible for all major milestone of the projects such as different acceptance tests. This will also require onsite participation, when the tests are being conducted.

What you need to succeed

A genuine technical interest and a degree within Software engineering, computer science or other relevant education.

•

You hold a project management certification and have experience with software management tools, ideally within the Siemens and Atlassian toolchain

•

You have a proven track record as a Project Manager with good results in an international environment with experienced engineers and Project Managers.

•

We consider it desirable if you have been managing Software projects within IT integration, Intralogistics, or Supply chain.

•

You are fluent in German and English; fluency in French is an advantage, and you hold a valid driver’s license
