In order to further expand our market position and offer our partners convincing added value, we are looking to expand our team with immediate effect or by arrangement with a
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
POLYMER ADDITIVES 100 % m l w l d
Reporting directly to the Business Unit Head at the headquarters in Switzerland you are responsible for the realization and execution of the growth strategy for the U.S. market within selected applications fields. You identify new opportunities and develop strong business relationships with major actors in the relevant areas of the plastics world. Target applications would include flooring (LVT, artificial turf, etc.), household utensils, appliances, and masterbatch producers.
You will establish, maintain, and expand our customer base continuously. Furthermore, you will also work in back-selling projects with U.S. brands and retailers.
A well-based technical education with focus on chemistry, polymer science, engineering as well as a proven solid track record in sales and marketing of masterbatches and/or polymer additives are key requirements for this position.
High social competence, perseverance, conviction, and assertive power as well as self-motivation describe the desired professional candidate. Additionally, you are willing to spend the most part of your time traveling in North America. You work independently but in close constant contact with your colleagues in the U.S. and in Switzerland.
