To strengthen our Supply Chain team responsible for Consumables, we are looking for an experienced professional who takes ownership of assigned products and topics along the supply chain. Guided by our mission of engineering miracles for people living with diabetes, you will work closely with CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations), suppliers, affiliates, and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable, transparent, and continuously improved supply chain execution.

Support us in the production and development of cutting-edge medical technology solutions that enable people around the world to self-manage diabetes and other chronic diseases.

Your main tasks

  • Take ownership of procurement planning and operational purchasing activities for assigned products and components sourced from CMOs and other external procurement partners
  • Coordinate and manage the operational supply chain interface with dedicated CMOs, ensuring reliable planning, execution, follow-up, and supply performance
  • Prepare, align, and continuously review supplier forecasts based on market requirements, sales forecasts, supply constraints, and available supplier capacity
  • Ensure market supply across all stages of the allocated products, from component availability to finished goods readiness
  • Coordinate the supply chain implementation of product changes in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, CMOs, suppliers, and external partners
  • Lead and participate in interdisciplinary transfer, planning, and coordination meetings within mylife as well as with affiliates, suppliers, CMOs, and external partners
  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve master data, planning parameters, and supply chain-relevant databases for allocated materials
  • Develop, monitor, and evaluate KPIs in the assigned area to ensure transparency, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Prioritize supply requirements and operational tasks in a dynamic environment, balancing short-term business needs with mid-term supply chain stability
  • Ensure the implementation of GMP specifications, SOPs, work instructions, training documents, inspection plans, and other relevant requirements within supply chain processes

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in supply chain management, procurement planning, supplier forecasting, material planning, or a comparable role
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, ideally within a procurement, manufacturing, or regulated medical technology environment; experience with GMP-related requirements is an advantage
  • Experience in working with SAP, mainly in SD and MM
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence in working with data, planning parameters, forecasts, and KPIs
  • Cross-functional mindset and confidence in collaborating across departmental and organizational boundaries
  • Ownership beyond the direct area of responsibility and the ability to actively drive topics forward
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment and remain structured under pressure
  • Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to challenges
  • Intercultural competence and confidence in working with international partners, suppliers, affiliates, and CMOs
  • Proactive and reliable working style, hands-on mentality, and constructive contribution to team and business objectives
  • Fluent in English; German is considered a plus
