As the company is growing, we need to reinforce Regulations and Safety.
Responsibilities
For the entire Habasit Group:
•
Assure the food contact compliance of the Habasit food belts portfolio: legislations follow-up, suppliers' documentation, testing and certification management (EU/FDA/USDA)
•
Clarify Habasit product related status and duties on other (international) regulations
•
Define Habasit duties on REACH and keep Producing and Selling Units up-to-date
•
Support Selling Units on regulations related customer requests
•
Maintain the Regulations databases
For the Swiss Producing Unit:
•
Assure Chemical Safety (Hazardous substances responsible, Substance Inventory (SAP-EHS), Contact to Authorities, Reviewing and creating Safety Data Sheets, Employees Training)
•
Follow environmental regulations (Emissions, VOC-balance)
•
Follow dangerous goods (contact person, training)
•
Manage some chemistry related R&D projects
Profile
•
PhD, Engineering or Master's degree (BSc?) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
•
Relevant professional experience in an international environment
•
Experience in project management would be an asset
•
German speaking with a good command of English
•
Good communication skills as well as cross cultural sensitivity
•
Superior organizational skills; ability to prioritize and adjust to business needs
•
Methodical approach to work with strong attention to detail
