Laboratory Technician Paints & Coatings

:
•
Process prototype powder formulations using powder processing equipment
•
Apply powder coating formulations to test substrates
•
Conduct testing and summarize experimental results
•
Complete projects within defined scope and timelines
•
Collaborate with colleagues across the other laboratories
•
Develop and maintain knowledge of formulation, application processes, and sample evaluation methods
•
Follow all lab safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
•
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including routine lab upkeep
•
support in Paint and Coatings laboratory
Candidate profile requirements
•
High school graduate or Post-high school education (college or technical school or vocational training).
•
Previous experience in powder Coatings laboratory setting is preferred.
•
Must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and able to operate with minimum supervision.
•
Must be able to work comfortably in a team environment and effectively on individual efforts.
•
Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with email, MS Word and MS Excel.
•
Must have the highest standards of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
•
Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
•
Must be able to perform hands-on laboratory work.
•
Fluent in German and good command of spoken and written English.
