The document will cover best practices, key prinicples and how-to-guidance on securing consumer-facing partnerships while enhancing the knowledge of front-line fundraisers on consumer engagement and marketing. The consultant will facilitate research, synthesis, drafting, and stakeholder coordination required for the development of the B2C engagement guidance document, alongside training materials from December 2025-June 2026How can you make a difference?SCOPE OF WORK:Guidance Note Development:The consultant will manage the finalization of a detailed guidance note to enable frontline fundraisers to partner with B2C companies.Stakeholder Engagement and Feedback:The consultant will ensure stakeholders are kept engaged and feedback is solicited in the finalization of the B2C engagement guidance document and training for frontline fundraisers.Compilation, Review, and Publication:The consultant will collate and refine drafts based on feedback. They will facilitate copy-editing, and approval processes leading to the publication of the strategy in a user-friendly format.Training Development:The consultant will develop the Consumer Facing Partnerships training modules and will deliver the training to frontline fundraisers across UNICEF’s National Committees.WORK ASSIGNMENTS OVERVIEWDELIVERABLES/OUTPUTSTMELINEB2C for RR GuidanceThe draft structure and proposed approach for the B2C for RR Guidance are developed and submitted, outlining key sections, inputs required, and timelines, in consultation with contract supervisor.by 15 January 2026Concise review of existing materials is conducted, identifying gaps and recommendation for the way forward.by 15 February 2026The outline of guidance document is developed and submitted for review and feedback.by 15 March 2026Feedback on the outline is collected and incorporated, and drafting of the full guidance document is developed.by 15 April 20261st draft of guidance document is developed and submitted for review and feedback.by 15 May 2026The draft B2C for RR guidance is presented toB2C for RR taskforce, and feedback from key stakeholders is collected and documented to inform final revisionsThe guidance document is finalized, incorporating feedbacks from stakeholders, and shared in an accessible and user-friendly formatby 15 June 2026by 15 July 2026B2C for RR TrainingThe proposal for the training content is developed, in consultation with key colleagues across the organization.15 August 2026The training package is developed and finalized, including a detailed roadmap outlining the validation process, roll out plan, and testing.15 September 2026The training content is reviewed and aligned with organizational systems and procedures, in collaboration with the Academy team.15 October 2026The training is launched, with monitoring and evaluation mechanism established to measure participation, learning outcomes and overall effectiveness.15 November 2026A plan outlining ongoing needs and future training priorities is developed, with a focus on ensuring sustainability and long-term impact.14 December 2026Payment will be made on submission of an invoice and satisfactory completion of the above-mentioned deliverables. UNICEF reserves the right to withhold all or a portion of payment if performance is unsatisfactory, if deliverables/outputs are incomplete, not delivered or for failure to meet deadlines. All materials developed will remain the copyright of UNICEF and UNICEF will be free to adapt and modify them in the future.Consultant's Workplace and Official Travel:The Consultant will be remote/home-based. As part of the assignment, there is a possibility of travel during the assignment on a per need basis and this will be covered separately by UNICEF, and not included in the lump sum fee. The consultant will arrange her/his travel as and when they take place, and related costs will be reimbursed per UNICEF travel policy.Travel Clause:All UNICEF rules and regulations related to travel of Consultants apply.All travels shall be undertaken only upon the prior written approval by UNICEF.The consultant must be fit to travel, be in a possession of the valid UN BSAFE certificate, obligatory inoculation(s) and have a valid own travel/medical insurance and an immunization/vaccination card.To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…Education:A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields is required: social science, education, international relations, political science, communications, international development, business administration or other relevant fields.Experience:A minimum of five (5) years of progressively professional experience in international development, knowledge management, brand development, communications, marketing, high value fundraising, learning & development, or corporate partnerships is required.Direct experience in communications and marketing is required, ideally in a commercial setting.Experience working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders is required.A strong understanding of corporate partnerships is required.Experience in developing training materials and programmes is required.Strong IT skills and fluency with Microsoft Office Suites, SharePoint, Graphic design software, and other programmes is highly desired.Language Proficiency:Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
