Description du poste

We are looking for one of our client, a private equity firm based in Geneva, a Head of Investor Relations.

The Head of Investor Relations will lead the development and management of the firm's worldwide investor engagement strategy. This includes delivering top-tier service to investors, maintaining clear and prompt communications, ensuring strict regulatory adherence, and fostering strong connections between investor needs and the firm's investment operations. This position serves as a key liaison among fundraising, operational teams, investment planning, oversight, compliance, and growth initiatives, reporting to top executive leadership.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and oversee investor engagement framework relationship building & expansion: Lead the cultivation and sustenance of strong ties with the firm's funding partners, emphasizing family offices (single and multi), asset advisors, government investment funds, business leaders, and affluent individuals (high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth).

• Customized investor approaches: Create and apply segmentation tactics, personalized interaction plans, and involvement structures adapted to different investor types.

• Prospect sourcing: The role requires an established, trusted network in these areas to quickly enhance the firm's access to capital and standing in major regions.

• Establish and sustain investor journey systems full investor cycle management: Oversee the complete process from initial outreach to integration, ongoing involvement, and potential exit. This encompasses handling compliance checks like KYC, AML, FATCA, and CRS, plus subscription procedures, capital requests, and payout distributions.

• Data and access control: Set up and refine mechanisms for managing investor authorizations, document sharing, virtual data rooms, filings, and compliance milestones to guarantee traceability, precision, and seamless experiences.

• Serve as advocate for investor perspectives internally investor oversight integration: Act as the main internal champion for investor concerns, making sure their entitlements, limitations, and goals influence investment choices, fund setups, governance, and disclosures.

• LP Advocacy: Represent limited partners in investment reviews and deal oversight, while organizing their involvement in advisory groups and observer positions at the asset level. This ensures investor interests are embedded in the firm's processes from start to finish.

• Direct investor outreach and openness initiatives outreach plan: Formulate and implement a comprehensive communication approach to keep funding partners updated, involved, and in sync. This involves crafting official materials like quarterly updates, financial and non-financial reports, deal alerts, performance overviews, newsletters, strategy briefs, and portfolio insights.

• Regulatory alignment: Partner with legal, investment, and finance groups to verify the correctness and compliance of all communications.

• Coordinate investor gatherings and communication schedule event planning: Direct the organization's investor-focused event lineup, covering LP assemblies, asset reviews, investor conferences, topic-based online sessions, and on-site tours. Manage content creation, participant logistics, execution, and follow-ups.

• Ongoing interactions: Handle the rhythm of communications, including calls, video materials, dynamic reports, and tailored updates to promote continuous engagement and clarity across the investor group.

• Supervise investor review processes and joint investment efforts due diligence support: Lead the due diligence support for investors on deals and funds, providing necessary access, information, and quick responses for their evaluations. This includes curating data rooms, custom review packages, addressing queries, and aligning inputs from relevant teams.

• Joint investments: Oversee the offering, allocation, documentation for side vehicles, and follow-up reporting for co-investments, in coordination with origination leads.

• Build and update investor insights and response mechanisms data hub maintenance: Develop and keep a dynamic, detailed profile of the investor community, monitoring aspects like allocation levels, remaining commitments, cash flow preferences, regional spreads, sector focuses, and overall feedback.

• Integration into operations: Ensure this data informs deal sourcing, asset assembly, and capital-raising plans. Collect, evaluate, and apply investor input to enhance products and services.

• Handle collaborative investor ties and processes co-Investment oversight: Manage the full cycle of joint investments from initial overviews to completion, including selecting appropriate partners, preparing opportunity summaries, allocation handling, legal closures, and ongoing reports.

• Innovate to provide exceptional investor benefits value-added initiatives: Beyond standard tasks, design and roll out features that set the investor experience apart, such as advance capital-call predictions for better cash management, seamless report integration with investor systems, personalized performance trackers, access to asset management teams when suitable, and swift handling of urgent requests. The goal is to surpass standard industry service levels.

Reporting structure and partnerships

The Head of Investor Relations reports to executive leadership and collaborates extensively with:

• Deal sourcing teams to match capital raising with investment opportunities and investor fit;

• Deal execution teams for review coordination and co-investment facilitation;

• Legal and Compliance units for onboarding, reporting standards, and regulatory compliance;

• Marketing and growth Teams for aligning communication timelines and online content strategies.

Ideal profile :

• We seek an experienced, respected, and skilled professional in investor relations with at least 10 years in private equity, private credit, or alternative investments.

• The right person will possess a solid standing and broad connections in the investor landscape, especially with family offices, sovereign funds, and high-net-worth individuals across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

• Essential skills include proven leadership in global investor operations, deep knowledge of fund designs, governance, legal papers, and compliance frameworks. The candidate should be well-organized, adept in relationships, and able to handle both high-level strategy and practical implementation in a dynamic setting.

• Drive, reliability, and performance in high-stakes situations are essential.
