Infrastructure engineer - 4 months - GE

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to lead the modernization of an on-premise environment, focusing on GPU infrastructure sizing and Azure Arc integration. The role involves upgrading existing Hyper-V servers, decommissioning legacy hardware, and delivering a scalable, hybrid-ready infrastructure in an international, English-speaking context.

At least 4 months mission.

Based in Geneva.

Description

• Analyze and size the GPU and data storage infrastructure (compute power, hardware requirements, etc.)

• Assess and evolve the existing environment: audit current Hyper-V servers and propose a target architecture

• Implement hybrid cloud solutions using Azure Arc

• Decommission legacy physical servers

• Produce technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer

• Collaborate with local and international teams in English

Profile

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure, especially with Hyper-V environments and physical servers

• Experience with Windows Server and Unix

• Strong knowledge of GPU computing and hardware sizing challenges

• Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Arc

• Ability to work independently and propose robust solutions

• Fluent in English - Mandatory

• French is a plus

• Eligible to work in Switzerland (valid working permit or CH/EU Citizenship)

Nice to Have

• Experience in infrastructure migration or modernization projects

• Familiarity with hybrid and cloud-native environments

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage end-to-end technical projects
