Senior Relationship Manager - Farmer Banker (Private Banking)

Long-established private banking institution in Geneva, as well as good global reach. A boutique with significant and growing assets under management. They offer traditional, as well as complex, bespoke private banking services to its high net worth clients. A strong share-holder, solid balance sheet behind. This Client is offering an enriching and challenging position, that is rather unique on the Geneva market place.

Position:

If you are an experienced front office farmer banker, could it be time for a new challenge? Perhaps you are not satisfied with your current job or find yourself between jobs right now. You are a seasoned farmer banker, used to a broad role in a small to medium-sized bank. If any of this applies to you, please do apply! (To note this position is full-time and no home office, 5 days a week within the very nice, central Geneva offices). Ideally to start ASAP but those on a short notice period should also still apply for this rare position. If you work today as a Senior Relationship Manager farmer, this could be a broad, varied role that is going to be enriching and rewarding for you as a next step. Within a small structure, the position is coming in as an experienced relationship manager (farmer) that has good visibility and responsibility. Day to day, you will maintain the client base and manage the relationships. With 2 assistants in the team, you may still at times have to take on one or two more administrative tasks relating to account-opening or a payment, fiduciary deposit etc. (This is not a hunter role). You should be comfortable on complex orders, structured products, funds, derivatives etc - even if you will be working closely with the Investment Advisor who is also part of this Geneva-based, front office team.

Profile:

• University or Masters degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum 8-10 years'++ experience as a relationship manager farmer/senior banker (maintenance banker, not hunter)

• Swiss experience is a must; "direct private client" experience (international exposure); stable career path ideally from a category 4 or category 5 FINMA-regulated bank

• Strong technically - CWMA Certified preferred

• An independent, autonomous person who is also a team player and able to get on with everyone whether more senior or more junior

• You are an unflappable, experienced, entrepreneurial person, at ease within a global brand but as part of a small office

• You are hungry, keen to learn and can take good good initiative and think outside the box with energy and drive

• Excellent attention to detail and strong on administration and compliance

• An open-minded and flexible and happy to "muck-in" and help out + a positive mind-set

• Able to commit to a busy, full-time job; at ease in a small structure (no home office) - front office open until 18.30 daily

• Swiss residency preferred but not essential; frontalier accepted
