Our client is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with experience in safety-critical systems to strengthen their radar display solution team.
You will work in an Agile environment, ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance in mission-critical software.

Description
• Location: Geneva, Switzerland
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Eligibility: EU or Swiss citizenship required (for Swiss work permit compliance)
• Create and maintain detailed Software Requirements Specifications and corresponding test cases.
• Review software specifications and ensure comprehensive test traceability.
• Develop automated test scripts using C++, Squish, and Python.
• Execute both manual and automated tests, documenting results and findings.
• Identify, analyze, and report software issues in JIRA.
• Maintain and synchronize data within the Test Results Management tool.
• Conduct formal system tests, including Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Analyze defects and incidents to identify root causes.
• Collaborate closely with development teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing and development practices.
Profile
• Holds a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Has at least 5 years' experience in air traffic control or another safety-critical domain.
• Demonstrates strong experience in software requirements and testing.
• Skilled in test automation, ideally with Squish and Jenkins.
• Possesses analytical thinking and the ability to translate user needs into technical requirements.
• Experienced with C++ and/or Python development.
• Familiar with standards such as ED153, ED109, or ED12B/C.
• Knowledge of tools like IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion is an advantage.
• Organized, methodical, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in Switzerland (EU/Swiss citizenship or valid permit)
