Software Engineer Java Backend - Yuh Account & Onboarding
We are seeking a Software Engineer who is focused on delivering high-quality software. If you see yourself as a Craftsman, who enjoys designing, brainstorming, reviewing and testing, then this is the right place for you!
As a Software Engineer, you will be developing and maintaining software systemsand integrating with third parties.
The main stakeholders are Yuh product management, product design and marketing.
Other stakeholders are various software engineering teams, IT and third parties.

team is looking for a talented Software Engineer focused on delivering reliable onboarding and authentication services, ensuring frictionless account creation, device linking, and robust account lifecycle management.
What will you do here?

Actively participate in the
development of the products
under your team supervision by creating efficient and reliable code
•
Collaborate closely with business analysts to
understand requirementsand discuss possible solutions
and alternatives to embed their requests
•
Keep yourself up-to-date on
cutting-edge technologies
and actively contribute to the
technical choices
of the team
•
Coordinate and organize the
product evolution
and delivery
•
Provide
support on the applications
to our internal and external users
•
Use modern
test frameworks
to ensure the quality of the applications
Qualifications
•
A degree in
computer science
or equivalent
•
Min 5 years
of experience in development of production-ready applications
•
Experience in
Java development
and willing to learnthe open source frameworks
Maven
,
Spring
and
Hibernate
•
Knowledge of
RESTful
services.
•
Knowledge of
Linux
,
Docker
,
Jenkins
,
Tomcat, Kubernetes, Sonar
and
Databases
(Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis)
•
Knowledge of
Git version control
system
•
Familiar or willing to work with
Kibana
and
Grafana
•
Knowledge of
event-driven
architectures
•
Familiar or willing to work with test-driven development:
TestNG
,
Wiremock
, etc.
•
Solid
analytical
and
problem-solving
abilities.
•
Experience working in
Agile
environments
•
Good communication, team player, rigorous and autonomous
•
Experience in banking is a plus
•
Fluent in English
, French is an asset
