Senior Director Innovation & Science, Dietary Supplements

Join dsm-firmenich as Senior Director Innovation & Science, Dietary Supplements and lead the end to end innovation agenda for our Dietary Supplements segment. Based in Kaiseraugst, you will guide a team of six experts, drive a high impact innovation pipeline, and oversee preclinical and clinical studies as well as scientific experimentation. You will translate breakthrough science into compelling concepts and claims, support advocacy efforts, and partner with commercial teams to successfully bring innovations to market.

Your key responsibilities

•

Govern and steer the innovation pipeline, ensuring effective project management of all innovation initiatives in line with stage gate principles

•

Lead research and scientific creation by collaborating with internal laboratories and external partners; work closely with Marketing to translate science into compelling, consumer relevant messages

•

Shape strategy as a key partner to the Marketing Segment Lead, codesigning the innovation pipeline and growth plans; engage with regions to capture needs and identify opportunities for value creation

•

Drive external engagement with customers and research partners, providing strong technical and scientific support to enable activation and business development

•

Lead and develop the team of scientists and innovation managers, fostering cross functional collaboration to deliver projects and drive the innovation pipeline

Deep understanding of the Dietary Supplements market, its trends, and how to build a compelling right to win grounded in scientific and technical differentiation
