As a Process Safety Data Analyst Intern in our team, you will play a vital role in the prediction of safety-relevant properties by analysing our recipes for flavour and fragrance products. This position will provide you with hands-on experience in data analysis and model documentation, while working closely with our safety lab and data science teams.
This internship is limited to 6 months (workload 60%) and is based in Kemptthal. You will report directly to the Global Environmental Protection Manager.

You will:
• Deeply understand the current data analysis approach and its applications
• Apply the existing data analysis methods to an enlarged dataset to enhance our predictive capabilities
• Document results and findings to improve the overall computer model approach
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of safety assessments

You bring:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in contemporary data analysis techniques and strong analytical skills
• Basic knowledge of organic chemistry
• Experience in various programming environments
• Fluency in both German and English
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
