The Farm Technologies Division develops smart solutions for farmers — today and in the future. Modern dairy farms rely on milking robotics, automation, digitalization, and intelligent systems to achieve profitable and sustainable milk production. GEA supports farmers worldwide with a broad portfolio designed to maximize productivity and milk quality.
To strengthen our team in Switzerland, at location Kirchberg (BE), we are looking to fill the following management position as soon as possible:

Country Manager Division Farm Technologies Austria, Switzerland & Southeast Europe  (m/f/d)

Location: Switzerland (Kirchberg) or Austria (Vienna)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Farm Technologies country/subregion organization for Austria, Switzerland & Southeast Europe (Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro & Kosovo)

  • Support the development of divisional strategies and enrich them with local customer, market, and country insights

  • Full P&L responsibility for all GEA Farm Technologies sales and service activities in ACH & SE

  • Further develop, elaborate, and implement the FT country/sales strategy in alignment with the divisional strategy; manage budgeting and execute sales & service activities

  • Support and develop the GEA FT ACH & SEE dealer network

  • Assess the financial performance of small entities compared to importer setups

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers

 

Profile and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a technical discipline

  • Internationally experienced expert in sales, service, and general management, with a strong focus on country sales

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an engineering driven environment

  • Advanced understanding of business development and experience managing complex change processes

  • Preferably experience with legal procedures and knowledge of labor law, Health & Safety legislation, and commercial regulations

  • Fluent in German and English; French is an advantage

  • Strong analytical abilities, problem?solving skills, and strategic thinking

  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities

  • Proven leadership competencies, including the ability to lead and develop internationally and culturally diverse teams
