US Gaap Accountant - 40%

The US GAAP ACCOUNTANT will manage and ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and financial reporting requirements. This part-time role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to accurate and efficient financial operations.

Our client is a mid-sized company with operations in several countries.
Description

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP standards.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors as needed.

• Maintain and update accounting policies to align with US GAAP requirements.

• Support month-end, quaterly and year-end close processes.

• Support the timely and accurate filing of local subsidiaries statutory reporting

• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Profile

• Education in finance / Accounting / or Economics

• Several years of experience in accounting or audit

• Comprehensive and current understanding of US GAAP, including recently issued accounting pronouncements and SEC reporting principles and regulations

• Big 4 audit firm experience is a plus

• CPA or equivalent qualifications preferred

• Experience with a public company with international operations is desired

• Excellent command of English (min. C1)
