About Our Client

 

Our client is a renowned biopharmaceutical research and development site based in Central Switzerland, specialising in the biotechnological manufacturing of active substances for clinical use in humans. As part of a globally leading life sciences group, the site plays a pivotal role in the development and supply of innovative medicines including breakthrough oncology treatments and stands for the highest standards in GMP-compliant biotech production.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Carry out GMP- and GDocP-compliant operations in the Weigh & Dispense (W&D) and Solution Supply areas
  • Execute sampling tasks in line with approved sampling plans, SOPs, and batch records
  • Actively support upstream (USP) and downstream (DSP) manufacturing processes
  • Assemble and disassemble single-use systems and process equipment; assist with line clearance and equipment setup
  • Conduct and support washer and autoclave activities in accordance with validated procedures
  • Perform material staging, transfers, inspections, and inventory checks
  • Accurately maintain GMP documentation including batch records, logbooks, and electronic systems
  • Identify, escalate, and document deviations, safety observations, and non-conformities
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and internal walkthroughs as required

 

Your Profile

 

  • Completed technical or scientific vocational training (e.g., Biotechnology, Chemistry, Laboratory Technician or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of hands-on GMP manufacturing experience, ideally in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector
  • Solid knowledge of GDP principles and ALCOA+ standards
  • Practical experience with cleanroom environments and biotech equipment (single-use and stainless steel systems)
  • Proven track record in sampling, material handling, and GMP documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and a compliance-driven mindset
  • Proficient in both German and English (written and spoken)
