Our passion for transport and warehouse logistics is driven by people who want to make a difference together.To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced professional who can manage our international fleet of around 70 trucks in a cost-effective way. Working closely with the LTL/FTL dispatch team, you will develop reliable capacity, strong carrier partnerships and efficient processes.

Your tasks – managing success together

  • Operational and financial management and continuous improvement of the fixed subcontractor fleet in close cooperation with the LTL/FTL dispatch team, including KPI analysis and regular reporting to the division management Ensure the best possible fleet utilisation, availability, on-time performance and service quality
  • Negotiate rates and capacity with existing and potential new carriers
  • Regularly analyse the carrier market and carry out benchmarks to review prices, services and market position
  • Manage, evaluate and develop the carrier portfolio in a targeted wayTake responsibility for contracts with carriers

What you bring

  • Completed commercial or business education, ideally in freight forwarding and logistics or a similar field
  • Several years of experience in transport or freight forwarding, in LTL/FTL and in carrier or subcontractor management
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with carriers and subcontractors from Eastern Europe
  • Entrepreneurial thinking; self-employment or experience in managing your own fleet is a strong advantage
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, with a clear, reliable and cooperative working style
  • Willingness to make decisions, assertiveness and good commercial judgement
  • Very good English skills. German, French or other Eastern European languages are an advantage
