The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of sequencing technologies (NGS: Illumina, Ion Torrent, Pac
- Bio, Element, and Sanger), as well as a strong motivation for prospecting and building long-term client relationships. He/She will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our client base, and promoting our NGS portfolio to academic institutions, biotech companies, and pharmaceutical clients. QUALIFICATIONS
To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a motivated, proactive, and self-driven team player with a scientific background who is eager to develop in sales and business development
- Scientific background with background in NGS sequencing (short- and long-read technologies), either in wet lab or bioinformatics
- Additional education or expertise in sales, business development, or economics is a plus
- Ability to understand client needs and provide fast, accurate, and appropriate responses
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in interacting with clients, advising them, and promoting our services
- Languages: French and English required; German is an asset
- Knowledge of business, project, and data management tools (Salesforce, Power BI, Asana, Abacus, etc. ) is a plus. Responsibilities:Identify and acquire new clients in the NGS field in line with the company’s strategic plan
- Manage and develop existing accounts in Switzerland and internationally
- Up to 20% field-based work (Switzerland and abroad), including prospecting, client visits, and participation in conferences
- Act as a single point of
