Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.
The work model for the role is: hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power globally. Main stakeholders are R&D, Service, Sales Teams, and Customers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work.
- Finding new ways of solving problems by following your ideas, creating hypotheses, and defining ways to validate them.
- Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or software), allowing others to maintain and improve them.
- Understanding and initiating IP generation in your area of specialization and participating in the project IP strategy development.

Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled and passionate in modeling and simulating electrical distribution networks, both in AC and DC, including Power Converters, Circuit Breakers, Fuses, etc.
- You have 5+ years of experience in Selectivity Analysis, Load Flows and Transients Analysis & Optimizations
- Experience in working as Senior Power Systems Architect with Computer-Aided Engineering tools
- You are qualified in MATLAB - Simulink, PSCAD, PowerFactory, PSS®E, EMTP-ATP, etc.
- Proven experience in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronic Systems)
- You are at ease communicating in English (Italian language considered as a plus)
