We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Storage Presales Consultant to join our team. This role combines sales responsibilities with storage-focused presales consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of storage technologies.

Storage Presales Consultant (m/f/d)

Job description

Sales:

• Proactively manage inbound leads and outbound prospecting to drive sales opportunities.
• Conduct initial customer meetings to understand needs and qualify opportunities.
• Collaborate with the field sales team to develop and execute account plans.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecast information in our CRM system (Salesforce experience is a plus).
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to partner development efforts by building and maintaining strong relationships.

Presales Consultant (Storage):

• Design and architect complex storage solutions.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to customers and the sales team.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to customers.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends and new storage technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of storage technologies, with a focus on NetApp products and solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in German and English, with Swiss German and French being a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
