About Auxivo

Join us in developing the next generation of wearable exoskeletons.

Auxivo AG is an innovative company founded in 2019 as a spin-off from ETH Zurich. Our mission is to reduce physical strain in the workplace by developing lightweight, wearable exoskeletons that improve worker health and safety. Our products are used by customers around the world across a wide range of industries, helping people perform physically demanding tasks more safely and efficiently.

Our headquarters are located in Schwerzenbach, Switzerland, with an EU office in Karlsruhe, Germany. To strengthen our product development team in Switzerland, we are looking for a highly motivated and talented Mechanical Engineer to help design our next generation of exoskeletons.

If you're excited about exoskeletons and building hardware that has a real-world impact on people’s lives, and you enjoy solving challenging engineering problems, building prototypes, and transforming ideas into industrialized products in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components, mechanisms, and assemblies for wearable exoskeletons.
  • Develop concepts from early prototypes through production-ready designs.

  • Generate manufacturing documentation, including drawings, CAD models, BOMs, and technical documentation.
  • Support verification and validation testing of prototypes and products.
  • Work closely with industrial designers, manufacturing partners, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to continuous product improvements, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
  • Support the transfer of products from development into serial production.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with a strong academic track record.
  • Ideally 2+ years of experience in mechanical product development.
  • Strong experience designing mechanical components and assemblies in CAD (Autodesk Fusion).
  • Experience with prototype development, testing, and iterative product design.
  • Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Ideally experience in industrial manufacturing preparation.
  • Knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal, machining, or other manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on mentality: you enjoy designing, building, testing, and improving hardware.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured working style.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, proactive, eager to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are required.

Fluency in German is highly desirable, but candidates with

a willingness to learn German are encouraged to apply.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to develop products that make physical work safer and healthier.
  • A highly innovative environment where your ideas directly influence the final product.
  • Workshop environments and creative spaces where your creative ideas can become reality.
  • The opportunity to take on responsibility quickly.
  • A multidisciplinary team with short decision paths and a collaborative culture.
  • A modern workplace close to Zurich.
