Your Role

As Client Onboarding Officer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are responsible for reviewing and processing client documentation and client data, ensuring data completeness and correctness throughout the life-cycle of the clients in the Bank and provide excellent service to all units of the Bank.

Your Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and processing all account openings, ensuring a smooth operational activity for the clients
  • Supporting and interacting closely with our Client Relationship Managers, enabling them to further develop their business
  • Act as the bridge between the bank's different stakeholders including Front, Legal, Compliance, IT to ensure aligned interests
  • Supporting the bank in transitioning from manual and paper-based customer files to a digital onboarding process
  • Managing physical and electronic static data throughout the life-cycle of a client
  • Verifying clients' signature on documents and instructions
  • Developing deep understanding of the Bank's processes, products and services

Your Profile

  • At least 2 years of practical experience in the Swiss financial market, reviewing account openings from CDB perspective
  • Sound knowledge in relevant regulatory requirements such as AML, FATCA/QI and CRS
  • IT affinity, experience in working with Avaloq is advantageous
  • Ability to weigh problems and set priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German would be an asset
