Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the development and continuous improvement of our analytics solutions. As a member of our team, you will act as a key link between business and IT, translating business needs into effective, scalable analytics and reporting solutions, primarily built on Power BI and Pigment.

In this role you will:

  • Gather, structure and analyze business requirements for analytics and reporting solutions in close collaboration with business stakeholders and IT;

  • Translate business requirements into clear specifications and discuss and validate them jointly with business and IT;

  • Partner with IT on the design and development of analytics and reporting solutions, primarily using Power BI and Pigment as well as other reporting solutions and applications;

  • Coordinate and perform testing of new and enhanced analytics solutions and manage the business sign-off and approval process;

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing analytics solutions and processes and drive their implementation independently;

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for business and IT on all matters related to analytics solutions, fostering strong cross-team collaboration;

  • Stay up to date on developments in reporting and analytics technologies to continuously improve our solution landscape;

  • Define and drive implementation of analytics related AI use cases jointly with AI teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of first hands-on experience or consulting experience in business analysis, reporting or analytics;

  • Bachelor's degree in DataAnalytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics or a related field;

  • Solid technical understanding of analytics and reporting solutions and the underlying data; experience with Power BI and/or Pigment is a strong plus;

  • Good understanding of business processes, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa;

  • Self-starter mentality with a strong drive to get things done and take ownership of tasks and projects;

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and proactively identify possible enhancements;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail during requirements analysis and testing;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively across teams and with both business and IT stakeholders;

  • Great team player and ability to work collaboratively at various levels of the organization.
