Project Manager

Job description:

As a Manufacturing Excellence Project Manager, you will support the diagnosis and transformation of production operations. You will introduce new ways of working and help deliver significant, sustainable improvements in production performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting fast-track diagnostics across areas such as production performance, maintenance, cost management, and organizational mindset and behaviours
• Identifying productivity opportunities and defining effective implementation plans
• Developing and deploying production management tools, processes and working practices
• Training employees in standardized production and operational excellence practices
• Supporting the local Manufacturing Excellence team in strengthening organizational capabilities
• Collaborating with functional experts to implement and embed new tools, processes and behaviours within the company’s production system
• Promoting a data-driven approach to performance management and decision-making
• Conducting targeted operational audits and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
• Coaching leaders and supporting local teams throughout transformation initiatives
• Identifying cost-effective solutions while maintaining a strong focus on measurable results

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in manufacturing excellence, production management, operational transformation or continuous improvement
• Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: production performance, maintenance, cost management, or mindset and behavioural change
• Ability to assess complex production environments and translate findings into practical implementation plans
• Experience leading and influencing cross-functional or local teams without direct reporting authority
• Strong balance between building long-term organizational capabilities and delivering short-term results
• Ability to create a shared purpose and gain stakeholder support during periods of change
• Confident coaching and stakeholder-management skills
• Data-driven and results-oriented approach
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear and accessible language
• Proactive, collaborative and trusted approach within a manufacturing environment

Nice to have

• Experience implementing or auditing standardized production systems
• Previous involvement in large-scale manufacturing transformation programs
• Experience delivering employee training and leadership coaching
• Background in the agricultural, chemical, pharmaceutical or another regulated production environment
