As Finance manager for Finance & Accounting at the SteelcoBelimed Business Unit Life Science, you will have overall responsibility for all financial, accounting and tax operations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting for all group companies managed by the Business Unit. This role includes managing accounting functions, financial planning and analysis, internal controls, tax compliance and audit coordination for all legal entities of the Business Unit Life Science as well as the consolidation on BU Level. The manager ensures adherence to local and international accounting standards, supports strategic decision-making, and works closely with senior management to drive financial performance and operational efficiency across the Business Unit. This position focus on the financial accounts, cash management, financing, hedging and taxation matters while Controlling and Management Reporting and Forecasting/Budgeting is lead directly by the EVP Finance.

Ihr Profil
•
Swiss Certified Expert in Accounting or Bachelor in Accounting is an advantage
•
At least 5 years of professional experience in finance and accounting in a manufacturing company (preferably in a project driven / engineered-to-order environment), of which at least 1 year in a managerial position. Experience in working with international teams (esp. DE, USA, IT)
•
Experience in handling accounting and tax matters of US subsidiaries, particularly Sales Taxes
•
Excellent command of German (spoken and written) and very good English skills.Enjoy working in an international environment
•
Strong understanding of complex business processes
•
Accurate work approach, high reliability, team-oriented attitude, and resilience
•
Strong analytical skills and confident use of Microsoft Excel
•
Expertise in financial accounting and financial reporting, financial statements
•
Experience in the area of cross-border VAT handling, particularly Switzerland and Germany, preferably Slovenia, Italy
•
Experience in group reporting
•
Experience in treasury and in dealing with foreign currency risks
•
Experience in working with SAP FI, good knowledge of SAP CO an advantage
•
Hands-on mentality and high willingness for active and operational participation in financial processes
•
Place of work: Sulgen, little travelling
