We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based in the canton of Vaud and specialized in chemistry, looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the industrialization of advanced devices. This is a key position operating at the crossroads of R&D, manufacturing, and product certification, within a highly technical and discreet environment.
?? Key Responsibilities
• Act as technical lead for the industrialization of embedded hardware (electronics & optics), coordinating with cross-functional development teams
• Identify and manage industrial suppliers and technical partners
• Build and assemble prototypes, test benches, calibration tools
• Perform validation, testing, and optical/electrical measurements
• Ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) compliance in all new product developments
• Serve as the main technical interface between internal teams and external manufacturing partners
• Support product assembly, calibration, and change requests
• Lead root cause analyses for issues in prototyping or production phases
• Maintain documentation such as BOMs, tool specifications, versioning, and manufacturing process flows
• Prepare and submit technical files for product certifications and coordinate with certification bodies
?? Your Profile • Degree in Electronics or related technical field (Engineer or Technician level)
• 5–10 years of experience in hardware product industrialization
• Strong expertise in electronic hardware validation, testing, reliability, and manufacturing transfer
• Solid understanding of industrial process design and optimization
• Proficiency with development tools such as Altium, SolidWorks, LabView, Zemax
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Project is a plus
• Highly organized, self-driven, and hands-on mindset
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
