CONTEXT:
AXA Belgium is looking to strengthen its Relationship and Contact Management team with a DevOps engineer. The digital world is a booming market and AXA is eager to continuously improve its “customer facing” front-end and mobile applications services through robust and cost-efficient platforms, standardized and automated for fast business enablement.
Within specific domains of the company, the Relationship and Contact Management team provides daily services on distributed infrastructure solutions within the context of the supported technologies (Azure,.Net, MSSQL, IIS, MS Dynamics 365...), under the governance of ITIL methodology and an AGILE Way of Working.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and automating their lifecycle through Azure DevOps, is an important asset, especially for managing environments, deployments, integrations, security, and monitoring.
With skills to build a strong helicopter view of any situation, our new DevOps Engineer applies these solutions in line with the AXA strategy, the local standard architecture, the operational guidelines of operations support and SLA’s (productivity, quality,...) agreed with the business.
DESCRIPTION:
In the role of Senior DevOps engineer, your contribution consists of the following activities:
•You work principally as an Ops Engineer, with Automation Scripting Development responsibilities •You work closely with various stakeholders (Developers, Testers, cross-department SPOCs, Offshore
teams, etc...)
•You are responsible of the Application’s Life Cycle Management, problem management, and release management, in line with AXA security guidelines.
• You play the role of FinOps, capable to evaluate the cost of an implementation before pushing the button.
• You support your team and discuss directly with the different stakeholder.
• You manage incidents – Understand end to end flow – Analyse a stacktrace.
• You manage the Business-As-Usual operations within your area of expertise.
• You implement Infra-As-Code end to end.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• You possess a Bachelor in IT.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience with similar responsibilities and technical environments.
• You are solution minded, with strong logic skills allowing you to assess a resolution path to any queries.
• You are a fast learner, can act as a leader, and are capable to work autonomously with an “outside of the box” mindset.
• You have a good knowledge of English.

o Powershell and the different Azure library
o Server OS (Linux + Windows)
o Web service concepts (SOAP / REST / API management)
o Web servers (IIS / HAproxy / Reverse Proxy)
o Data integrations (MSSQL)
o Security concepts (SSL / Certificates / security gateways / resource hardening)
o Monitoring tools (Dynatrace / Application insights)
o Networking concepts (LAN / TCP.IP / Load balancing / Firewall management)
o Debugging (Openssl, Postman, Network Trace Analysis, Kudu, Dev Tools, …)
o SDLC process and different SDA tool use in AXA is a big advantage (Octopus)

FUNCTIONAL AND OPERATIONAL SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse and its architecture;
- Management of environments and deployments between Development, Test and Production;
- Automation of the solution lifecycle via Azure DevOps and CI/CD;
- Integration with Azure, API Management, SQL and other systems;
- Management of access, service accounts, certificates and secrets;
- Monitoring, incident diagnosis and dependency analysis;
- Collaboration with functional CRM teams and Dynamics Developers.
