ANIMA MedTech Japan GmbH was founded in Zürich in 2026 to research and develop medical devices for diagnostics and rehabilitation and bring them to Europe, building on ANIMA Corporation?s (Japan) gait and posture technologies. Join us as a founding member and lead our technology, science and clinical work in Switzerland.

Your role

• Transfer technical know-how and skills from ANIMA Corporation in Japan to the Swiss team.
• Coordinate research and clinical validation studies with Swiss and Japanese partners.
• Lead the MDR certification process (CE marking) and adapt our products for the European market.
• Safeguard product integrity and compliance with European and Japanese medical device regulations and standards.
• Manage and grow the Swiss operation together with the management team.

Your profile

1. PhD in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, biomechanics or medical/health sciences).
2. 5+ years in clinical research and 5+ years in engineering / product development.
3. 5+ years of experience in medical rehabilitation and ENT (otorhinolaryngology), with a focus on gait and posture.
4. At least 5 years of proven business management experience.
5. Experience working for an international company across multiple countries.
6. Track record in international collaboration and in working with diverse, multicultural teams.
7. Fluent in English and Japanese, spoken and written; basic German.
