Your responsibilities

  • Support pricing, exposure management, and risk monitoring across linear and non-linear derivatives.
  • Assist in trade evaluation, PnL analysis, and performance tracking for both options and linear books.
  • Collaborate with traders and risk teams to ensure consistent valuation and effective Greeks management.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL) for pricing, market analysis, and visualization.
  • Monitor energy and petrochemical markets, incorporating fundamental insights into trading decisions.
  • Act as a key interface to internal stakeholders, supporting hedging, margin optimization, and market development.
  • Identify trading opportunities (relative value, arbitrage) and contribute to idea generation for the desk’s proprietary trading activities.
  • Gradually take on more responsibility in structuring, pricing, and trade execution.

Your profile

  • Degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or related) with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interest in energy and commodity markets, with solid understanding of derivatives (futures, swaps, options).
  • Experience working with market data, with familiarity in programming and analytical tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL) considered a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with knowledge of time series, pricing concepts, and relative value.
  • Familiarity with PnL analysis, risk reporting, or trading tools is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working closely with traders in a fast-paced environment.
