Are you ready to shape the future of network infrastructure at one of Switzerland’s leading telecom providers? As a Senior DC Network Engineer, you’ll take a key role in engineering and developing Sunrise’ Datacenter, Shop, and Office networks. From designing robust infrastructure to authoring blueprints and technical guidelines, you’ll be at the heart of building and optimizing our network backbone.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Supporting Business and Product Management in developing new services with regards to IT and NE Datacenters, Shops and Offices network connectivity
  • Leading baseline initiatives (e.g. lifecycle projects, network upgrades, network redesign etc.) pertaining to Sunrise UPC IT and Network Datacenters, Shops and Offices
  • Planning and executing proof-of-concept and regression testing, authoring of the test catalogues, automation of the test setup
  • Cost-efficient, future-proof, resilient, tested and well-documented Datacenter, Shops and Offices network design
  • Interoperability of the Datacenter network platforms with internal and external client platforms (mobile core, radio, security platforms, business customers)

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Datacenter network engineering
  • Ability to author designs, plans and guideline documents at the high (HLD) and detailed level (LLD)
  • Solid understanding and proven experience on Cisco ACI SDN solution and Nexus NX-OS based platforms
  • Understanding and proven experience on Cisco and Huawei Campus SDN solutions and Identity Management Platforms
  • Proven ability to work efficiently on multiple tasks at the same time
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • English language proficiency in speaking and writing
