As an IT Simplification/Cloud Transformation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding organizations through the process of transitioning their IT infrastructure, applications, and services to cloud-based solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing current IT environments, developing cloud migration strategies, and executing the transformation roadmap to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, defining sourcing strategies, and selecting providers that align with our customers’ IT and transformation strategies. You will be the trusted advisor, accountable for delivering highly complex, multi-disciplined consulting engagements that provide lasting and measurable value to our esteemed customers. Your expertise in prioritizing use cases, conducting ROI and business case analyses, and seamlessly incorporating security and resiliency into future state designs will shape the foundation for success.

You will strategically develop a future state vision and roadmap, revolutionizing the infrastructure and network requirements to meet the ever-evolving needs of both IT and business. You'll be the catalyst for improved performance and productivity, identifying areas where efficiency can be optimized, costs minimized, risks reduced, and performance enhanced. You will capture, prioritize, and analyze technical requirements, both functional and non-functional, ensuring that every aspect of the solution is meticulously crafted to perfection.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 7+ years proven experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation, preferably with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong understanding of cloud migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures.

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native services such as containers, serverless computing, and microservices architecture.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Project management experience, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google

• Excellent spoken and written German and English language skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• In-depth knowledge and extensive experience within the Financial Services sector

• Strong knowledge in French preferred
