Head of IT Platforms (Finnova) - 80-100% (W/M) permanent

To support the Technology team in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced but dynamic Head of IT Platforms as a permanent position. In this role, you will support the Chief Technology Officer on running and enhancing the bank’s IT platforms based on the Finnova core-banking system. Your responsibilities cover ensuring a stable and performing system backbone, testing and installing new features for smooth system releases, facilitating data quality and availability while driving further integration and optimization of the system landscape. You will be working closely with the CTO to support the IT change agenda.
You will report to the CTO. Your place of work will be Zurich.
Your tasks
- Driving the IT platforms strategy and improvement agenda (e.g. Finnova.NEO, tool selections)
- Running and enhancing the bank’s IT platforms based on the Finnova core-banking system (incl. parameterizations / change requests)
- Ensuring a stable and performing system backbone (incl. servers and databases)
- Testing and installing new features for smooth system releases
- Facilitating data quality and availability
- Partner-up with external vendors to deliver the IT platforms value chain
- Driving further integration and optimization of the system landscape
- Acting as deputy for the CTO

Your profile
- A minimum of eight years of experience in the IT department of a bank in Switzerland that runs on Finnova. Preferably a smaller bank with a focus on Private Banking
- In-depth knowledge of Finnova is a must. Experience with Qliksense (Aparo) and Streamlit /Python is a plus
- Motivated, eager to learn with a self-starting mindset. Willing to take on increasing
responsibilities over time
- A team player with a positive personality and high integrity, who appreciates a dynamic and international environment
- Excellent command of German and English (spoken and written); Dutch is a big plus
- Resident in Switzerland (Zurich area)
