Head of Quality Management & Audit (100% - f/m/d)

To complement our team at the head office in Zurich, we are looking for a committed, dynamic person by appointment. 

You have a proven track record in quality management, auditing, project management and leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Head of Quality Management & Audit (100% - f/m/d)

Your area of responsibility: 

• Define and implement the quality management and audit strategy in line with OEKO-TEX® standards and regulatory requirements 

• Mange the implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems across certification and audit processes 

• Analysing data to identify opportunities for improvement and producing reports 

• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of quality control measures 

• Planning, execution and evaluation of internal and external audits 

• Ensure audit methodologies remain current with evolving regulatory and industry requirements 

• Investigating complaints and implementing corrective actions 

• Lead and develop a team of Quality Managers and Junior Quality Managers

• Partner with certificate holders, certification bodies and internal departments to align quality standards across the organisation 

• Collaborate with the Product Management Team for evaluation and further development of certifications 

Your profile: 

• Minimum 8-10 years proven experience in quality management and audits, preferably in the textile or certification industry 

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (quality management, textile technology or textile engineer) 

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and international audit standards

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, very structured and detailed in the way of working 

• Excellent communication with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional groups 

• Strong leadership skills, with excellent written & spoken English 

• Willingness to travel is required (15%)
