The opportunity

Our unit is responsible for extensions, retrofits, replacements of own and third-party substations, including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services and troubleshooting. You would be part of an international team, where we support each other and grow together.

Join our team as Project Manager Service for our Gas Insolated Switchgear & Generator Circuit Breaker products. In this challenging role, you successfully manage the entire end to end process of our projects and you confidently represent the interests of the company towards our customers. For this challenging opportunity, we are looking for someone, who has a technical background with experience in a Project Management position and who is motivated to plan, manage and control the project activities with a hands-on approach and international exposure.

How you'll make an impact
• You are responsible for the successful execution of our diverse projects starting with the handover from sales department, throughout design, production and until the completion of site works

• After handover of the project you coordinate the project team with members from the required disciplines and ensure that each member completes the assigned tasks and work packages according to your project plan

• During the project execution, you define and successfully manage all project milestones and ensure the on-time, on-quality and on-cost delivery of our products. In case of deviations, you proactively report to management and initiate the appropriate actions to bring the project back on track

• As the first point of contact to the customer you ensure customer satisfaction with your open and proactive communication

• With your commercial experience you successfully manage the contract towards the customer

• Your tasks include the management of changes in scope of delivery. By identifying opportunities you actively seek to increase the revenue & margin as well as the reduction of project risks

• You share your knowledge, success stories and learnings with the team and keep an open eye to identify, initiate and lead continuous improvement actions

Your background
• You combine a technical education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with commercial training

• You have several years of experience in project management. A PM certification would be beneficial

• You showcase a positive mindset and a constructive approach when confronted with complex or urgent challenges

• You are business fluent in German and English. Spanish, French or other languages would be a plus

• To be successful in this job you require excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ideally, you have experience in SAP as well as product knowledge in GIS and GCB
