In our Global Product Group – Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service, we are constantly evolving and improving our offerings and solutions to be able to offer our customers the full benefit of our technology and innovation, within highly effective Business Models that would support our Global customers achieve their energy needs while improving efficiency, saving resources and reducing emissions.

Working within the Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service(GPQSS) Product Group, you will be responsible to drive innovation and growth across our “At the Edge” portfolio beyond today’s focus areas. The function would be well support the deployment of new/advanced business models and offerings. This would be achieved by driving Business Development in the Global Markets, increasing our System and Solutions Marketing activities and Business Intelligence, in order to have early Market Penetration and Strong Collaboration with customer to secure this Growth at the Core and the Edge of our

Business. You will be responsible to deploy these task by implementing our Strategy and deploying appropriate business models to best serve the Customer needs, with our strong portfolio and our ability as a System Integrator to bring our Hitachi products combined with 3rd party products and Service. You will also work closely with the Front End organization

and the Marketing and Sales communities within the Business Units in Hitachi to ensure a smooth experience for the Customer from the Early Engagement and Development stage right through to Sales and Execution. You will report to the Head of Business Development, Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service Product Group.

How you'll make an impact:

• You work with our existing key Customers, Markets and Segments to further develop our relationship and promote our strategy and expanding portfolio, to ensure that we best serve our Customer’s needs.

• You would explore new Markets and Segments, listening to Customer needs and the market trends, in order to bring our portfolio to Customers and further develop the solutions by working closely with these customers and parallel industry or solutions providers to bring complete solutions that would fulfill their needs.

• You would roll-out and implement new business models, long term partnership, exclusive development and the Base Load concept with the aim of securing the best solutions for our customer within the portfolio offered. You would also introduce mechanisms such as Frame Agreement and Capacity Reservation Agreements for securing opportunities while ensuring that we are able to fulfill customers requirement from delivery times, optimized technical solutions and business models that will enable best value for our Customers and Hitachi Energy.

• You would explore partnerships and long term strategic relationships with parallel industries and key suppliers in order to present a stronger system solution to our customer.

• You would develop and implement new business models, integrated Solutions utilizing out expanded portfolio as Hitachi and 3rd Party offerings, to bring new innovation into our offering Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your Background:

• A degree in Engineering, Business or Management or other relevant subjects.

• Between 5 to 8 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Operations roles with similar responsibilities and experience within the Electrical and Power Industry.

• Experience in meeting customers at all Management and Operative levels, building confidence to present the company portfolio while working on solutions.

• Availability to travel in Europe – up to 50%

• Experiences in working in a multicultural environment, across different regions.

• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
