As a Product Manager, your

MISSIONS

is to shape the Security Service Edge (SSE) market and our position in it by driving adoption of our solutions and defining/delivering a differentiated and compelling service offering. You will work with the best and the brightest in the industry. And we need you to bring your creativity, energy, and passion for understanding the customer to this role. In this role, you will expand our current SSE solution through the development and innovation of existing and new services to increase the performance, protect the assets of our customers, and increase the user experience. This is an important role within the company and you will work in concert with our development and operations teams on service definition, feature prioritization, and the creation of differentiators that deliver true value to our customers. You will act as a domain expert and “voice of the customer” to clearly articulate the challenges and pain points associated with developing and maintaining a mature, scalable, and effective SSE offering. Additional Responsibilities:Roadmap: Create and align a service roadmap that reflects and considers the ongoing needs of the customer, our Operations Team, and the changing competitive landscape

for the SASE services to include “must-have” capabilities for both product features and operational tools

  • Differentiators: Identify and clearly communicate the key competitive differentiators that deliver true value to customers
  • Product/Service launches: Support cross-functional teams including Sales, Sales Engineering, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Finance with service and feature launch activities such as solutions training, industry education, collateral review, and outbound marketing communications activities
  • Product/Service pricing and packaging: Create simple, easy-to-understand pricing and packaging to facilitate market adoption
  • Sales support: Participate as appropriate with sales efforts and ensure channel-ready solutionsOEM vendor management: Be responsible to assess, negotiate, and manage different OEM vendors that are integrated into the SSE technology stack
  • Market Intel: Stay abreast of industry news and events, industry analyst reports, and social activity. Drive competitive analysis, and pricing analysis. Leverage these to continually refine the product offering
  • Work with Analyst Relations and Press Relations to raise awareness and position our offerings
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of 3 Product Owners (and the 20+ developers they manage), providing guidance and career development support to ensure alignment between service strategy and engineering team execution
  • Cross-functional Planning & Prioritization: Translate company and service roadmaps into actionable goals and priorities for engineering teams in collaboration with Product Owners. Coordinate with fellow Product Managers within the Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) framework to manage inter-team dependencies, align on capacity constraints, and drive collaborative prioritization of features across the development organization

QUALIFICATIONS

A successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience in the role with a demonstrated ability to work with experienced development teams in an agile development method. We are looking for someone who is passionate about security, and about learning how customers work, their pain points, their needs, and about their alternatives / our competition. Someone with a creative mindset, and ear for how the customer talks/thinks. An eye for quality is crucial, along with the ability to grasp and translate complex technical topics and jobs into simple user stories and product

4+ years of product management experience with security, network, software or managed security services solutions in the SD-WAN, Secure Web Gateway, ZTNA, Secure Email Gateway or a related cybersecurity space

  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic roadmaps into features and services that are delivered on time and with qualityA solid understanding in managing and driving the profit and loss (P&L) of a product throughout its lifecycle
