Your responsibility

• Underwrite / Infrastructure risks (CAR / EAR) and build up your own portfolio, according to Helvetia Group Underwriting Directives and Guidelines Strategy
• Conduct technical and insurance risk assessment
• Ensure accurate and complete recording of all underwriting information.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with brokers and clients
• Cultivate a strong understanding of the business provider network
• Attend national and international client and broker meetings as well as site visits when necessary
• Collaborate closely with our claims department for large and complex claims

Your qualification

• University degree in engineering, law, business, insurance or commercial qualification
• Professional experience as an Underwriter, Senior Underwriter, Claims Manager, Loss Adjuster, or Insurance Professional willing to develop as an Underwriter or Senior Underwriter
• Solid understanding of the infrastructure and constructions sectors
• You tackle challenges with passion and demonstrate high expectations of your own performance
• You can develop stable partnerships across departmental boundaries and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to meet common goals
• You have a positive, agile, and team-oriented approach
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is also beneficial
