We harness data and advanced technologies like Machine Learning, AI and Generative AI to foster innovation that sets us apart in the industry. Advanced Analytics is our compass for achieving present and future business targets, securing sustainable revenue growth at optimal margins. Situated within EPD's Strategy Management Office, the central AA team forms a strategic nexus with the EPD Senior Leadership Team.</p><p></p><p>Join our team as a<b> Product Owner for Advanced Analytics – Commercial </b>and embark on a transformative journey that leverages modern data technologies to shape the future of our business. Collaborating closely with influential stakeholders including Commercial Excellence, Commercial Regions and Affiliates, and Finance the Product Owner will craft strategies that reframe our approach to overcoming business challenges.</p><p></p><p><b>Core Job Responsibilities:</b></p><p>Role consists of three capabilities mainly, which make core job responsibilities.</p><p></p><p><b>Driving Transformation and Innovation (25%)</b></p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with business units, data scientists, and other stakeholders to gain a comprehensive view of challenges and opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Lead end-to-end problem definition and recommend impactful machine learning, AI or GenAI solutions, emphasizing their integration for maximum effectiveness.</p></li><li><p>Develop and execute strategic communication and engagement plans to foster awareness, understanding, and buy-in for Advanced Analytics initiatives across the global EPD community in alignment with the direct supervisor.</p></li><li><p>Champion the development of essential capabilities to empower our workforce to embrace the data-driven culture.</p></li><li><p>Identify and link Machine Learning, AI and GenAI opportunities to strategic EPD priorities and business KPIs.</p></li><li><p>Support the definition of the budget and resources needed to execute an AA/AI project in conjunction with the AA team and the business stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Ensure adoption for Advanced Analytical solutions.</p></li><li><p>Accountable for Product Vision, Project Management, and Sprint Execution.</p></li><li><p>Drive adherence to project standards and documentation.</p></li><li><p>Understand the project portfolio with clear focus on the commercial initiatives and how it serves the overall EPD AA Roadmap.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Strategic Stakeholder Collaboration (25%)</b></p><ul><li><p>Take ownership of stakeholder relations within the Commercial area, ensuring alignment with AA opportunities, scope, and roadmap in conjunction with the direct supervisor.</p></li><li><p>Employ structured governance to project portfolios, ensuring transparency and alignment with overarching business goals.</p></li><li><p>Lead project planning, track deliveries, facilitate open communication through workshops, and guide stakeholders toward a future of data-driven decision-making with the support of the direct supervisor.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and lead project SteerCo and Executive Board meetings.</p></li><li><p>Coaching stakeholders across functions to navigate confidently in a machine learning and data-centric environment.</p></li><li><p>Identify key stakeholders and SME to support and sponsor the projects execution and the solution adoption with the support of the direct supervisor.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Empowering ML, AI and GenAI solution Delivery (50%)</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead the Data Science and Data Engineering project teams, adopting agile methodologies to drive Advanced Analytical Solutions.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to define and manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) logs, actively pursuing resolutions.</p></li><li><p>Ensure timely delivery of projects by maintaining a clear focus on milestones and objectives.</p></li><li><p>Understand of AA, AI and GenAI product life cycle incl. ability to identify best fit Advanced Analytical / AI solution approach for a given business problem.</p></li><li><p>Understand analytical effort to business problem / impact.</p></li><li><p>Work towards effective collaborations with internal and external teams to achieve project deliverables.</p></li><li><p>Define user-journeys together with Business stakeholders. </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Education:</b></p><ul><li><p>Relevant degree in technology, mathematics, science, or business, reflecting a proven ability to communicate modern data technologies within international organizations.</p></li></ul><p><b>Minimum Experience/Training Required:</b></p><ul><li><p>4-5 years of product owner experience, blending Advanced Analytics solutions with change management and capability building in medium and large organizations.</p></li><li><p>Showcase a history of leadership in successfully delivering machine learning and data science projects for a minimum of 4 years.</p></li><li><p>Possess consulting and change management experience, highly valuable assets that amplify your potential to drive transformation.</p></li><li><p>Display a solid understanding of advanced analytics and machine learning applications, demonstrating their customized application in organizations like Abbott EPD.</p></li><li><p>Present hands-on product ownership acumen within the analytics solution domain.</p></li><li><p>Exhibit exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging senior executives and stakeholders from diverse functions, illuminating the significance of advanced analytics and modern data technologies.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate prowess in forming partnerships across departments, even with remote teams.</p></li><li><p>Show proficiency in planning, emphasizing clear milestones, meticulous documentation, and proficiency in tools such as JIRA/Confluence and Microsoft Teams.</p></li><li><p>Possess a comprehensive grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle, data analytics, cloud technologies, machine learning, and end-to-end data pipelines.</p></li><li><p>Be a proven contributor to digital transformation within a corporate landscape, excelling in a
