Job opening — Scientific Applications Analyst, Benchling | Foundation Immune Engineering for Global Child and Adolescent Health | Basel.
Your day-to-day tasks will cover:
- Take ownership of core responsibilities within your area of expertise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
- Maintain quality standards and adhere to internal processes
Required profile:
- Scientific background with laboratory experience. A PhD in a relevant field (immunology, molecular biology, bioengineering, or similar) is a strong, although optional advantage.
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, scientific data management, or scientific project management within a research, biotech, or pharmaceutical environment.
- Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, triage competing demands, and identify the highest-impact improvements rather than simply fulfilling requests. Product management experience is of great benefit.
- Experience working with ELN/LIMS platforms (Benchling experience preferred). Understanding of common data models and best practices in laboratory informatics.
- Relevant degree and professional experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
