Manufacturing Engineer

To support ongoing manufacturing activities within a
GMP-regulated biotech/pharmaceutical environment
, we are looking for a
Manufacturing Engineer
for a
6-month fixed-term contract in Bern canton.
Key Responsibilities:
You will play a hands-on role in daily manufacturing operations and contribute to process robustness and operational excellence:
•
Execute daily manufacturing activities in
USP, DSP or support areas
(media and buffer preparation, equipment cleaning and preparation)
•
Act as a
first point of contact
within the manufacturing team for training support and troubleshooting
•
Own and maintain
SOPs and Work Instructions
within your area of responsibility
•
Contribute to
Manufacturing Excellence initiatives
to ensure smooth and robust operations
•
Participate in defining robust
process parameters
during routine manufacturing campaigns
•
Support
New Product Introduction (NPI)
activities
•
Ensure
training and compliance records
are accurate and up to date
•
Operate in full compliance with
GMP, EHSS, ethical and legal standards
•
Actively contribute to
EHSS initiatives
, including near-miss reporting and follow-up
•
Take personal accountability for performance, presence and productivity to achieve defined objectives
•
Participate in
on-call duties
according to planning
Your Profile
•
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or Food Science
•
3–5 years of experience
in pharmaceutical or biotech operations within a GMP environment
•
Hands-on experience with
biotech/pharma processes
: sterile operations, USP, DSP, solution preparation, single-use systems,
CIP/SIP
•
Strong willingness to learn and a proactive mindset
•
Fluent English required
