We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with experience in event operations or security, ideally gained in an international context. The ideal candidate is highly organised, comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-level environment.


Event Security Specialist - HQ Operations (12-Month Contract)


Our client is a renowned international organisation based in Geneva, operating in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and organising high-level events involving senior global stakeholders.

Missions

You will join the events and security function to support the end-to-end coordination of security activities for a portfolio of headquarters-based events.

In this role, you will contribute to both the preparation and on-site execution of security operations, ensuring that all aspects of event delivery are conducted in a safe, structured and efficient manner.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the design and rollout of event security frameworks and operational plans
  • Coordinating closely with internal teams, external partners and security providers
  • Overseeing planning processes, documentation and administrative follow-up linked to security operations
  • Supporting on-site security coordination and incident management during events
  • Acting as a point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring a professional and service-oriented approach
  • Contributing to the optimisation of security processes across the events portfolio

Profil du candidat

  • Background in security operations, law enforcement, military or a related environment
  • Proven experience in event coordination, operations or risk/security management
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (additional languages are a plus)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international and stakeholder-driven environment
  • Proficient with standard digital and office tools
