You will report to the Sales Manager Surgery and will be responsible for developing your sales territory as well as achieving commercial targets.

This position requires strong collaboration and leadership skills. It encompasses strategic business development, opinion leader management, new product launches, service sales, and the management of existing accounts.

This role offers you the opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to driving the success of the Wound Closure portfolio in the Swiss market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and product consulting in the hospital environment
  • Introduction of product innovations and innovative services
  • Building and maintaining relationships with opinion leaders, physicians, operating room staff, and procurement teams
  • Organizing and facilitating continuing education for specialized medical staff
  • Managing backorders
  • Representing the business area at trade fairs and congresses
  • Developing and implementing sales plans and commercial initiatives
  • Conducting market analyses to serve as a foundation for market development strategy
  • Working directly in the operating room environment

Key Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the medical device sector
  • University degree or Higher Education Institution degree (HES) is a plus
  • Business-fluent German, English and French (negotiation level)
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong negotiation skills and closing ability
  • Very strong customer and results orientation
  • Determination, self-motivation, and commitment
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skillsFlexibility and willingness to travel and attend congresses
  • Creativity and openness to change
  • An autonomous, integrity-driven, dynamic, stress-resilient personality with an entrepreneurial mindset
