To strengthen our Strategy and Execution team, we are seeking a professional as our:

Project Manager IVD Business (m/f/d) 100%

The Project Manager leads complex cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives that support the company's business objectives. This role ensures alignment across functions, drives disciplined project execution, and enables the successful delivery of initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and significant business impact

Your Role – Strategic. Global. Impactful.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic and cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Translate strategic priorities into structured project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, timelines, governance, and defined accountabilities.
  • Coordinate and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Finance, and external partners to ensure timely decision-making and execution.
  • Monitor project performance against scope, timelines, budgets, and KPIs, ensuring successful delivery of committed outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and execution bottlenecks.
  • Facilitate effective governance by preparing decision-ready analyses, leading project meetings, tracking actions, and escalating critical issues where appropriate.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to project sponsors, leadership teams, and steering committees, ensuring transparency and stakeholder alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management standards, methodologies, governance, and execution excellence across the organization.

Your Profile – Visionary. Collaborative. Data-driven.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline; additional business education is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the IVD, Medical Device, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industry
  • Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation in an international and matrix organization
  • Experience collaborating with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management expertise; PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or an equivalent project management certification is preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to translate technical and scientific information into business decisions, navigate ambiguity, and drive execution
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
