What we look for

We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and proactive IT System Administrator & IT Support Engineer to manage, maintain, and continuously improve our IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and end-user environments.

This role encompasses server administration, user and access management, troubleshooting, cybersecurity, cloud services administration, and technical support for internal users.

The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in Windows-based environments, networking, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity best practices, and system monitoring. They are solution-oriented, able to work independently, and committed to delivering high-quality IT services while ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.

Working closely with colleagues across the organization, the successful candidate will contribute to the efficient operation of our IT landscape and support ongoing technology initiatives and projects.

The ideal candidate has

Completed vocational training as an ICT Specialist EFZ / IT Specialist EFZ or equivalent qualification in IT.

Experience in IT support, workplace management, and system administration in a professional environment.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, GPOs, networking, and Microsoft 365 administration.

Practical experience with backup solutions, endpoint protection, and IT security best practices.

Familiarity with ERP systems (ideally Odoo) and warehouse management systems is an advantage.

Experience with IT service and development tools such as GitHub.

Strong communication skills, combined with analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach.

Very good English skills; German and/or French is an advantage

Ideally 3+ years of experience as an IT System Administrator / Support Engineer in an SME environment.

Key responsibilities

End-User Support

Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support to internal users.

Coordinate with and support external service providers in maintaining and developing the company’s IT infrastructure.

Set up new workstations and prepare, configure, and issue IT equipment.

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account creation, access rights management, and equipment allocation.

Manage procurement, administration, inventory, and documentation of IT hardware and peripherals, including printers, network devices, and accessories.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and communication issues.

Configure and maintain spam filtering, email security policies, and mail flow rules.

Administer shared mailboxes, calendars, and collaboration platforms within Microsoft 365.

Contribute to digitalisation and IT transformation projects.

Install, configure, and maintain business applications, firewall systems, servers, and related IT infrastructure components.

Monitor system performance, security, and availability to ensure reliable IT operations.

Maintain technical documentation, asset inventories, and operational procedures.

System & Server Administration

Administer, maintain, and support Windows Server environments and telephone systems.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies within Microsoft Active Directory.

Configure, maintain, and optimise Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

Install, configure, update, and document server operating systems and business-critical applications.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.

Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of server infrastructure

Network Administration

Monitor, maintain, and optimise network infrastructure.

Support and administer LAN, WAN, VPN, and WLAN environments.

Diagnose and resolve network performance and connectivity issues.

Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, and other network devices.

Perform server room patching, cable management, and network organisation.

Maintain network documentation and support infrastructure upgrades.

Cloud & Microsoft 365 Administration

Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.

Manage cloud platforms and services, including Microsoft 365 and Nextcloud.

Administer user accounts, licences, groups, and access permissions.

Support cloud migration projects and collaboration tool implementations.

Ensure secure and efficient operation of cloud-based services and applications.

IT Security

Implement, maintain, and continuously improve IT security policies and procedures.

Deliver IT security awareness and cybersecurity training for users.

Administer endpoint protection solutions, including Bitdefender.

Apply security patches, updates, and vulnerability remediation measures.

Monitor security logs, alerts, and system events to identify threats .

Support incident response and vulnerability management processes.

Contribute to compliance initiatives and continuous improvement of the organisation’s security posture.

Salaire moyen estimé : 85'000 CHF/an.
Études professionnelles en génie agroalimentaire, contrôle qualité ou gestion de la production laitière, ou formation équivalente reconnue par les autorités suisses. Diplômes ou équivalences reconnus : Reconnaissance officielle des CFC par le Ministère des Finances suisse, Certification de formation continue homologée par la Chaîne Laitière Suisse.
